Christmas, Football, and 2009!

Wow. I can't believe the month of December has come and gone! It went by soo fast. TOO fast, perhaps! We had a great month, and Christmas. We spent Christmas with Drew's family in Las Vegas. It was great, and although it was my first Christmas away from home, I felt home. I didn't feel very homesick and was happy to be there! :) We were able to open presents and go to dinner with my family the day after Christmas, because the Chargers game (My brothers and dad go to it every year) happened to fall on this past weekend this year. My family stayed the night on the 26th at my brother, Jared's house, in Vegas. The boys left early Saturday night and got back at 3:00 in the morning on Monday. It was a fun week with Drew's family, and fun weekend with my mom, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephew. I was able to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and it was great to do so. Of course, the presents were great too! :) I got guitar hero, and Drew got a video camera. My parents also got us tickets to Disneyland! :) We are spoiled! I can't believe 2008 is over! It was a great year with lots of good changes. I was married to my best friend, I finished Medical Assisting school, I got my Associates, and may more great things that I wont go into for your sake :). I am very thankful for my husband, my friends, and my family. I am thankful to be where I am, and I am very blessed. 2009 will bring some more great changes and fun. Happy New Year everyone! Leonitus-Man's Best Friend-By Drew

Hi, my name is Leonitus. I happened to break down the back door and entered into my masters' house. Their computer was on and I noticed that they have NEVER mentioned me on their blog. I am going to poo in their shoes after I rip them up. So I decided that the world needed to know that I DO exist and that I am the cutest thing ever, besides my master's wife. Here goes a day in the life of me, Leo. WOOF! WOOF!



This is my beautiful face. (And that dog behind me is my EX best friend, Kate. She randomly got up and ran away one day) I hope she is having a horrible life.

Most days I just lay here in the sun, eventually I get too tired.

So I sleep.

And move positions and sleep more...

Early Christmas present..

I am SO spoiled. A couple months ago Drew started saying he wanted to get me a wedding band. I told him to save it for Christmas, my birthday, or our one year anniversary. Well, the other day we wrapped all of our presents for each other (in different rooms) and I was sure one of them was my band because we looked a couple weeks ago, and he implied he was gonna get one. SO...I came home from a job interview to him saying he wanted to give me a present early. I said no, I wanted to save them for Christmas day! But he hadn't even wrapped it or anything. He pulled out my band and I LOVE IT. I tried to get some pics to show, but they aren't very good. The band kinda makes my ring look yellow because it needs cleaned! But they are both white gold. :) Anyway, I love my hubby...he spoils me WAY too much.

Thanksgiving

We had such a great day! We spent it with my family at our condo in St. George. It was so fun to have everyone there...it's a rare occasion to have everyone in one place. Although I love seeing my WHOLE family, the highlight was of course the nieces and nephew, once again. Now, we have one day left of school and finals and we're done!! WOOT! We have Christmas to look forward to now! Here are a couple pics and some that I stole from my mom. The pic of all the girls is ...eh...the angle makes someone look a little HUGE!!! Vegas

Drew and I went to Vegas last weekend to visit his parents and go shopping! It was lots of fun, and we got spoiled. After shopping for hours on Saturday, Drew and I went to see Jared and Leesha and the kids. Leesh was sick so that was sad, but it was fun to play with the kids for a while. That night, we went to the Belagio (It's our favorite) and hung out with some friends from Cedar, Joel and Lily. It was a fun weekend! Drew's mom even made me my favorite cake, Funfetti! We always love visiting and it's been so long since we've seen them, it was great to get away.

Christmas...a little early!

Drew and I bought a Christmas tree and some decorations last year, the day after Christmas. (Yes, we'd only been engaged for 6 days..:)) But we figured it was a good idea because it was WAY cheap! Anyway, Drew had been dying to get it up, so I gave in and let him put it up. As long as we remember Thanksgiving and how important it is, I'm okay with the tree. :) It turned out really good and looks really pretty! Drew tried to put up his train from his childhood but it doesn't work anymore. I included the pics of him after he figured out it wouldn't work...sad, but a little funny. I can't wait for the holidays! I love this time of year.

Anniversary already!

Today is our 6 month anniversary! Pretty crazy. My life has changed so much since I married the most amazing man in the world. I have learned so much about the gospel, about compromise, about true love, and about the world in general. I have changed, for the better. And I hope I have had an impact on my sweet husband's life as well. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Drew and if the rest of our lives are like the last 6 months, I will be in heaven. He does so many little things for me and is one of the most understanding men I've ever known. I am a VERY emotional girl and between health problems, job issues, and school, he knows EXACTLY what to do, and when to do it. Even seeing him when he gets home from work just makes me feel so much better. I know that God brought us together because we are perfect for each other. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, and I am so blessed to be married to the love of my life. Here are the reasons why Drew is the most amazing man in the world. (Don't fight it...:))
-His sense of humor is great and he understands mine.
-His testimony and experiences in the gospel make him a great example to others, especially me.
-He has a big heart and loves helping others, especially me. :)
-He has so many talents and I love when he sings to me.
-He is passionate about his future, and knows what he wants out of life.
-I love how he is with kids. It's SOO attractive!
-His smile and laugh are my favorite things in the world!
-He is incredibly smart and gets all A's.
-He is very helpful and helps with housework and cooking.
-He knows exactly when I need a diet Dr. pepper to make me feel better.
-He is very creative when it comes to surprising me. It's sometimes so frustrating! :)
-He has a cute bum. :)
I have many more reasons and could go on for hours but being the sweet man my husband is, he wants me to go cuddle with him. :) I love Drew so much and am happier than ever! Sorry if you've seen these pics before! I didn't have any new ones.

CRAZY Halloween!

So. We had quite the halloween week! Last year for Drew's younger sister's 19th birthday party, we played a murder mystery game. I highly recommend it to anyone that has never played one! They are so fun! So, we got another one for this year, and it was a Luau Hawaii based party. We ate Hawaiin Haystacks and decorated our kitchen to look like a spooky Luau. It was really fun! Drew was a surfer named Joey, and I was a Hawaiian dancer named Leilani. Drew turned out to be the murder! I don't have any pics of the whole group but I have some of just Drew and I.


Secondly, Drew had to dress up at Wells Fargo (he works as a teller there) yesterday. He decided to be a bank robber! Funny huh. He was by far the funniest one there. :)

Last but most definately not least, we dressed up as Homer and Marge Simpson for the night! We took Mikey, Drew's youngest 10 year old sister trick or treating, and then we had a party with some friends. My hair only got caught in a couple trees! :) Also, the paint was a LITTLE more yellow than we expected. So, we are radioactive Simpsons I guess. :) But with the help of DI and a creative husband, I thought we turned out pretty good! Hope you all had a Happy Halloween! :)





Oh, and one more thing, just in case you haven't laughed enough. We carved pumpkins a little too early this year and here is what our pumpkins looked like the day before Halloween.....:( Pretty sad.
