Sunday Night Cookies

We have been so busy the past couple weeks! With our new excercise schedule and Drew's busy work schedule this month we've barely had time to sit and relax at night, let alone blog. :) However, I have a few minutes now before our Valentine's Date this afternoon so I thought I would update a little.

Luke has officialy hit a new whiny "terrible 2's" stage. He is 21 months, so I guess it's coming a little early. He is still the cutest kid we know and my love for him continues to grow every day. But, he definitely thinks he's the boss and the word "no" is a common one heard around our house these days. (By him, and I guess us too since he doesn't mind as well!)

But he is talking and jabbering so much. It seems like he learns a new word each day and he is starting to put 2 and sometimes 3 words together. He can say, "Who's that?" and "Mama go?". And he still is obsessed with his Buzz and "Wooey" dolls. (He pronounces Woody, "Woo-e"). I am starting to worry that I let him watch tv and movies too much because his favorite thing to do is bring his little chair over to our dvd's and use it as a stool to pick a movie out. He pulls them out one by one and thinks about it and then puts it back until he finds one he thinks he might like. It's usually Cars, Toy Story, Shrek, Monsters Ink, or "Baby" (Which is Tarzan. He stops watching when Tarzan turns into a kid...haha.) He LOVES babies. And no, he won't be getting one added to his family for a little longer. ;)

Drew and I have done really well with our diets and working out since the new year. We have only missed a couple days here and there (not including Sundays.) I have lost 14 lbs, with 11 more til my first goal. Drew has lost about 7. He doesn't need to lose as much so he gets to cheat more than I do! But it's not hard and it's becoming a way of life. I'm really proud of us!

And in more exciting news, my little brother proposed to his girlfriend Chellcee a couple days ago! He made a movie preview showing pics of them and had the movie theater play it before "The Vow" when they went on Friday. The video made me cry it was super cute, and we are so happy for them! I can't wait to add to the ever-changing Jones fam! Getting another sister is also a huge bonus!

I have been trying to let Luke "live" a little more after seeing a couple cute ideas on Pinterest for toddler activities. He is not quite ready for most of them, but I did let him help me make cookies last night. It was A BIG mess. But he loved it. And so did I. Here are some pics! (Disclosure: We are in need of a new camera so badly. Ours just doesn't take pics well and most of them turn out blurry no matter what we try.)
