WHOA!

It's been far too long, I know. I have lots and lots of pics and lots to blog about, however, I can't add the pics today because they aren't on my computer yet. So, I'll just give you an update, and the next post will be full of pics. :) Disneyland was really fun! It was really fun to be with my little nieces and nephew. It was pretty funny because we rode ALL the kid rides. All of us. You're never too old for Disneyland!
Drew and I are still working at Cedar Breaks Lodge and Re-Bath. I am currently still searching for a medical assisting or phlebotomy job in the area. School starts in two weeks, so either way, I'll most likely be working part time. We moved across town into a 2 story townhome. It's quite the adjustment! Just the little things....we have less space to store stuff, but it's more open. We like it, I'll get pics up soon.
Our Washington D.C./New York trip was AMAZING. It was so good to get away together for our 1 year anniversary. So much has happened in a year but it seems like yesterday that we got married. I love my life, and am so happy to be married to the man of my dreams.
I'll get pics up of D-land, our house, and D.C./NYC next time. :)

What's in store..

I know it's been a while! We have been really busy making plans for the next couple months. I know I mentioned I got a new job a while back, but did I mention that I love it? Its the best job ever, and I got a raise! My boss wasn't planning on me doing much down in Cedar (she's in Salt Lake and my office is just a branch off of the office up there) but I have surprised her, so she decided to bump me up a dollar! Excellent! She also has been very understanding of vacation days and doctor days. It's great. So, if you or anyone you know is interested in a new bathroom, go through us! :)

We are going to Disneyland next weekend with my ENTIRE family (all 14 and 1/2 of us) and I can't wait! I can't wait for the sunshine and to ride Small World! (Drew hates that ride..) I just can't wait to see my nieces and nephews have so much fun and hang out with everyone.

A couple weeks later, (4 days after my 21st birthday..WAHOO) Drew and I are going to Washington D.C., New York City, Palmyra, and Niagara Falls. Mostly for our anniversary, but Drew's best friend Faiver is getting married in the D.C. temple and we're invited. Kill two birds with one stone! FUN!! Drew got some really good deals on good hotels/rental car on priceline.com so I am excited!

And last but not least, I was going to surprise Drew by flying him to his grandparents house in Moses Lake, Washington. It's one of his favorite vacation spots. However, I decided he'd probably rather drive and would want to help me plan. So I gave him an early present and we're planning together! I can't wait to see the fun little town my hubby was born in and fish, kayak, and lay in the hammock all day!

And finally, I have decided what i wanna do with my future. Big news, I know. I am finishing up some pre reqs here at SUU starting in the summer. I will take 15 credits this summer and fall, and apply to the Medical Sonography (Ultrasound) program at College of Southern Nevada in February. The program starts next June, and I really hope to get in by then! Wish me luck!

Fun Weekend

Drew and I have been wanting to go Snow Boarding for a long time now. He gets to go for free since he works at Brian Head, and he can get a discount for family. So we decided to go this morning. We stayed the night last night (because he worked until 11:15 up there..) and then got up at 9:00 and went for a couple hours before he had to work again at 2:30 today. It was a lot of fun. I know I look pretty good with that hair do and outfit...:) I am pretty soar right now but it was worth it! I also got a few battle scars! :) After we were done we went and ate pizza at the famous pizzeria up there. (We are starting the South Beach Diet on Monday and decided to go out with a bang. The pieces were HUGE!!) and sat in the sauna and hot tub, and then showered and drove around til he had to go back to work. We found a park on the way and decided to take some pics. (cheesy I know..) Also, I don't think I've worn my hair in a "messy bun" for like four years, so enjoy that. Haha. It was a fun day!

Check out this awesome snowflake that fell on Drew's eyebrow! I had to get a shot...it's a REAL snowflake!! :)

And here are the "engagement" pics on the spot....wish my hair was cute, I would really like them!

Lovopoly and Diamonds!

My husband can't EVER wait for holidays to come. He always wants to give me presents before the actual day. So, this week we exchanged Valentines. ( I know! A week and a half early.) We are going to a play at Desert Star Theater in Salt Lake on Valentine's Day. "Home School Musical." It should be fun. Then we get to spend the weekend in Heber. I'm excited cause I haven't been to Heber in 4 months! Dairy Keen here i come! :) Anyway, I know I posted a blog about my new band a couple weeks ago. But we ended up returning that band because it had some problems, and didn't match like we thought. So, that's what I got for Valentine's Day. It was a huge surprise cause I thought I was getting a movie. I LOVE it and it matches really well. These pics don't show it well, but the diamonds are square like on my other ring band. It's very pretty. I found this really cute thing to get for Drew. It's called Lovopoly. It's just like Monopoly, but instead of the spaces being cities, they are places significant to Drew and I. For example, Cedar City, Las Vegas, Heber, "The C", (which is our first kiss location) honeymoon sites, the most expensive place is the Timponogos Temple, which is marked "priceless" on the board. It's so cute! Instead of "Go to Jail" it says "Go to Therapy" (which has a pic of our bed on our wedding night) and when you get in therapy you have to say how you can better your relationship. The cards that usually say "community chest" and whatever else, say other things that have to do with love and couples, and the "game pieces" are pics of Drew and I. It's really fun and cute. Here are some pics, although I don't know if you'll be able to tell. :) I got a new job! It's just a secretary job at a place called ReBath of Utah. I can't wait, I start on Wednesday. I don't think I'll be blogging before we go to Heber, so Happy Valentine's everyone!

I'm a princess!!

So, I've always wanted a canopy bed. The other day I was having a really bad day at work so Drew cheered me up by making a fake canopy on our bed. It was like a little hut! So fun. We slept in the ghetto thing for two days! :) (He just tacked dark blankets up around our bed...) So, I was really sad when we had to take it down because it was fun to sleep in and I really slept better! So, the next day when I was at work he went and bought actual materials to make a real canopy! He is creative eh?! I love it so much! We just tie them up in the morning and let them down in the night. I LOVE IT! :) I feel like a princess. These pics don't do it justice at all. The green ropes around them are the same green as our room so it matches really well. Anyway, nothing else new to talk about really! Hope you're all doing well.

Beware: Boring

I figured I should probably drop a line since it's been a while. Nothing exciting has happened so I have nothing fun to blog about! But I thought I would just update everyone. I started my new job at a an AT&T call center. I finally had to settle for it because NOTHING else is opening up. I can't even count how many jobs I've applied for in the past 2 months. I've had a couple friends work for Convergys (the call center) and all of them warned me, but I didn't know what to think until I gave it a try. Well, now I know! The training is just SUPER slow and it's frustrating. And of course, the fact that I will be answering phones and talking to disgruntled customers all day isn't too fun either! But, I'm still looking, and trying to stay positive. Drew loves his new job at Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa and it gets him more excited for finally graduating in December. Our plan is for him to take an internship this summer with Marriott either in Salt Lake or Las Vegas, and possibly live with relatives (surprise! :) (haha, we haven't discussed this with them yet...) Then, when we return, we only have 4 months until Drew graduates and we're off to start life! Wahoo! I really can't wait to get out of Cedar. Not that I don't love this little town that reminds me of my home town, because I do! I just am excited to start a job that I love and start a family, etc. Anyway! That's enough for this post I guess! :) Just wanted to update everyone and say hi and hope all is well. Love you all!
P.S. We're going to Disneyland in 3 months!! And New York and D.C. in 4!! WAHOO!!
